Adobe Dimension CC empowers graphic designers to achieve photorealistic 3D effects as never before. The software is easy and simple. It gives you a group of ready to go 3D shapes to facilitate working on the software and you can add other shapes from outside the software than edit it within the software. Adobe Dimension CC (formerly Project Felix) makes it easy for graphic designers to create high-quality, photorealistic 3D images without having any previous 3D experience. This video will be part of my Photoshop 3D tutorials series, but it will focus mainly on Dimension CC.
I’m excited to share with you some really cool updated features and improvements since our debut release of Adobe Dimension 1.0 in October last year.
Adobe Dimension is a new tool for graphic designers to create photorealistic renderings using both 2D and 3D assets. We are starting out by enabling a streamlined workflow for designers to create previsualizations of branding or product mockups. Explore our gallery.

Whether you’re an experienced user or just getting started with Dimension, don’t forget that with Adobe Stock, you can access a whole realm of assets for your project. With over 4K models, materials and lights, the Adobe Stock 3D collection is optimized to work perfectly with the Adobe Dimension app. Need an asset that you know will work perfectly with Decals or already has the UVs perfectly built and optimized? The Adobe Stock collection may be just what you need.
Before we jump into the features, I’d also like to highlight a new Pfeiffer report that explores various methods of design visualization. The report finds that with Adobe Dimension, designers can create on average five times faster with Dimension’s 3D workflows while still achieving high-quality, photorealistic results. Dimension CC 1.1 features
This year is really about interoperability in addition to a continual focus on performance and usability. Version 1.1 introduces an Edit In workflow for images to Photoshop (don’t worry, Illustrator is coming soon). Dimension fits into your existing toolset, an advantage of working within the Adobe CC ecosystem.
Edit in Photoshop
This workflow is one of the first steps we are taking in leveraging the power of Photoshop (and eventually other Adobe products) while working within Dimension for top quality photorealism. Edit In enables you to easily add common image formats, seamlessly edit them in Photoshop, and save the changes back in Dimension.

Usability enhancements
Snapping and alignment to the ground
Now you can have the confidence that your 3D object is touching the ground of your scene. Kmspico microsoft office 2019. Easily move your object to the ground so that the lowest point is touching or as you drag your object around snap bottom, middle, or top point of the object (or group of objects) to the ground.

Marquee Select
Need I say more? Drag on canvas to easily target groups or discrete objects. There is also a toggle that allows you to only select objects that are completely enclosed by your selection or just touching.
CC Libraries and support for color application
CC Libraries is a great way to share assets across your devices or teams to ensure consistency. Dimension 1.1 adds support for color application — so save your colors to libraries and use them as the base color of your model, background of your scene, or the color of your lights.
Save color palettes to libraries to use them everywhere.
Performance
Performance is an important area for us. We’re specifically focusing on file importing, workflow efficiencies, and rendering — both in the interactive canvas and final quality render. To start with, we have some great improvements that result in an average of 30% faster rendering times for certain scenes.
In the spirit of performance improvements, I’d like to dig into the recent Pfeiffer productivity benchmark report mentioned earlier. The report compares traditional 2D and analog methods of accomplishing common designer tasks (such as photo-compositing or adapting stock images) to achieving comparable results with Adobe Dimension. The report finds that designers can produce photorealistic brand visualizations and product mockups much more quickly and efficiently with Adobe Dimension.

The report also states that by incorporating 3D workflows within Adobe Dimension to accomplish these tasks, designers can not only create on average five times faster, but also achieve high-quality photorealistic images more quickly and with more flexibility to change and edit aspects of the design along the way. Auto-UV
3D models are made with UVs, which are essentially a guide to tell your design application how and where to display the material or image that you are applying. UVs can get very complicated, even for advanced 3D modelers, and our research shows that the majority of models available online either don’t have UVs or their existing UVs contain errors. Bijoy 52 for windows 10 64 bit. All of this means that when you apply a material, things just won’t look right.

Using an advanced algorithm powered by Adobe Sensei, Adobe Dimension will automatically create UVs or offer to fix detected errors in existing UVs so that you can get to adding materials and decals immediately.

We lean heavily on what we hear from you and there are many ways to provide feedback. The easiest way is directly in the Dimension application.
