The game is about a fictional pizza restaurant named “Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza”. There you must act as a night security guard and defend yourself from some malfunctioning animatronic characters. You do that by tracking their movement using the security cameras placed in different spots.
Let’s tell you more about this Five Nights at Freddy’s. So the main character known as Mike Schmidt started a new job as a security guard at the restaurant Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. Things get a little scary because Mike’s predecessor is leaving a voicemail message every night talking about the history of the restaurant. He is also talking about the restaurant’s animatronic animal characters coming to life at night. This happens because their servomotors lock up when are left off for too long. Mike is warned that he is in danger of being killed if the robots encounter him.
The restaurant’s image as well as it’s popularity was affected over time by some strange events. The man mentioned that an animatronic bitten off a person’s front lobe. It seems that a man lured a number of children into a back room and killed them. The restaurant received many complains about the animatronics smelling bad and even have blood around their eyes. One customer suspicion was that the children are dead and their bodies are inside those animatronics. After seven nights, Mike gets fired because all this events in Five Nights at Freddy’s for MacBook.

In the game, you play as the security guard and your goal is to survive your shift without being hurt in any way by the animatronic animals. You sit in an office and you have access to the security cameras in order to see the animatronics movement. Each of them will roams the whole restaurant and has particular movement patterns. The security cameras don’t cover all the areas of the restaurant and you are not allowed to leave your room. But you can close the door to defend yourself and also turn on the lights in the hallways.

Five Nights at Freddy’s has five levels containing the five ”nights” in the game. The difficulty increases with every ”night”. When you complete the main gain, you unlock the ”night” number 6 which is more difficult. Also if you manage to get through this level, you open a ”Custom Night”. This means that during it, you are able to adjust the Al difficulty for each character in particular.
