The BU-353S4, by USGlobalSat, GPS Receiver can be utilized in a variety of applications. With a non-slip base and compact design, the BU-353-S4 is completely self-contained and waterproof. It incorporates the latest SiRF Star IV GPS chipset and a 48-channel antenna so you receive the highest degree of GPS accuracy.
Typical application may include, but not limited to marine, aviation, and commercial environments in such uses as fire truck, police cars, buses, RVs, utility & long haul vehicles. Locate the download (usually in a Download folder) then unzip BU-353.zip. Double click the installer (BU-353.exe) from the extracted file and follow the prompts. Note: Windows Vista and 7 users may have to right-click and choose Run as administrator on the file to get around Windows UAC security. I install as sensor driver on COM4, where my BU-353 sits. But I don't get any satellite information out of that, and no data to use in the windows app. Anyone having an idea or stumbled upon the same problems?
